False Memories

Retro-slang. Bright neon dubs. Poor acting.

If you haven't already caught on - these are all references to the highly embarrassing Buffy, the Vampire Slayer movie. Despite being written by Joss Whedon, this movie was the anti-thesis of everything that the sequel television series became; the film had no vision and was rushed into production. However, it is the prime example of what we're anxious to avoid here.

Buffy canon best forgotten.

We're a group of meticulous fans and won't tolerate incarnations from either the Buffy movie or other sub-par shows. We have a long list of these said sub-par shows, most notably including One Tree Hill and Dragon Ball-Z. Over-dramatic teenagers nor dramatically charged demi-gods will be admitted into this game. Point blank. We don't discourage creativity. Quite the contrary, nothing pleases us more. But on a realistic level.

It's important to remember that though the show had supernatural themes, everything was rooted in the natural. On that note, bring your thoughts, but leave your memories of other shows and the Buffy movie, especially, behind.
