Archangel Powers
Archangel powers are supernatural abilities that manifest in archangels, mainly those who have been tasked with the role of defending the earth dimension against corrupt deities and fallen angels. Archangel powers tend to be divinely granted abilities that aide celestials in their roles as heaven's warriors. These abilities allow them to interact with humans with ease, shield their identies, and confront evil entities who threaten the free will of humans. Below is a full list of archangel powers acquired by succession within Only After Nightfall.

Omnilingualism
|
Gained at Strength: Level Zero
The ability to understand, speak, and read any language without training in it. This power is a consciously activated ability. When presented with a language foreign to them, the user wills a fluent understanding, which causes their eyes to flash with a bright white light as their mind becomes imprinted with the new language.

Shape-shifting
|
Gained at Strength: Level One
All archangels have the ability to disguise themselves as humans, concealing their true form which is considered gigantic by human standards with various skin tones ranging from blue, purple, green, and yellow. This ability also camouflages other non-human features such as pointed ears and unique eye colors. It does not give the user the ability to shift into various forms of creatures and species. |

Retractable Wings

Gained at Strength: Level Two
The ability to sprout expansively large white feathered wings. The wings are expansive enough to span the user's entire body; providing a cocoon of protection. Because of their divine nature, the wings are immune to all forms of magic and imprevious to all occult and paranormal powers. It is believed that all archangel powers (separate from archangel traits) are granted from these wings. The user can expand/retract these wings willfully.

| Invisibility |
Gained at Strength: Level Three
The power to make oneself unable to be seen, or transparent to the natural eye. Because of its divine nature, this power produces a mystical aura of gently swirling mists of wind around the user during its initial activation. This version of the power is potent enough to block those with psychic powers that see past veils (which are limited to the three powers of perception, mediumship and clairvoyance). The user can activate this power willfully for any length of time. The user does not have access to their other archangel powers when this ability is in use.

| Exorcism |
Gained at Strength: Level Four
This is the power to banish spirit entities and demons from both places and people. To conduct an exorcism, the user must stand next to the possessed person, or nearby/inside the location. A heavenly glow emits from the users hands, and the divine light casts out the intruding entity. Sometimes after the exorcism, the being may linger, if powerful enough, but it can be fully banished with learned Miracles. Most of the time, however, the entity flees to the Otherworlds where it was spawned.

Divine Fire
|
Gained at Strength: Level Five
The power to channel a mystical fire native to the Higher Planes. Unlike earthly or other mystical oriented fire, divine fire has a number of varying properties. When touched by a demon, the flame burns through their flesh and produces severe burns. This fire can completely incinerate any demon below the user's own strength level. Demons of Strength: Unlimited and those of the immortal races only experience severe burns - which heal with mundane potency. When touched by humans, these fires can produce a healing effect capable of relieving all major wounds and pain - excluding death. The power can be projected as a fireball or a short concussive blast of fire. The user can activate this power willfully.
