Description

A Human is a mortal being that is born with an immortal soul. While some humans are born with supernatural abilities making them psychics or witches, most humans are mundane and live ordinary lives. While other races are usually subjected to eternal damnation as a result of sin, humans are blessed with the ability to be forgiven and cleansed of sin by the Divine. This makes them the natural enemy of the majority of fiends - most notably the fallen and their demon seed.

Human beings make up the vast population of the Valiantverse, and most lead their lives ignorant to the on-goings of the supernatural world. To the contrary, there are those few select humans who lead extra-ordinary lives without the aide of extra-ordinary abilities. Some of these types of human beings who use their knowledge of the supernatural to aide good are usually referred to as heroes or white hats. However, there are some humans knowledgeable of the supernatural who choose to ally themselves with demonic kind in the quest of power, fame, and fortune; they are generally referred to as Villians.

A Hero is a person who in the face of danger and adversity, from a position of weakness, displays courage and the will for self-sacrifice. This bravery is considered to be an act of heroism for some form of greater good out of moral excellence. A White Hat is a person who is ethically opposed to the abuse of mankind by the ruthless, unjust, and malevolent beings in the world. However, a white hat is not inclined to self-sacrifice and usually only battles evil because of a personal obligation to "do the right thing" for their fellow man.

Experience Points

Within the Valiantverse most characters will join the game as a human. Humans enter the game with the lowest Experience Points starting count of Experience Points: 10. Humans who are Called enter the game with an EXP starting count of Experience Points: 40.
