| Offense was called in by a civilian (Darnell Simmons) who stumbled upon the deceased body of a male found in a dark alley in downtown Los Angeles within the Financial District. Deceased's brown eyes were frozen open in fear, and there was a carving of an inverted pentagram, haphazardly cut into his neck. The cuts indicated that the knife was sharp and not dull. Deceased was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital for an autopsy review. Cause of death reported inconclusive. Markings were not found to be the cause of death. Identification found on the body revealed the deceased to be Joshua Marshall. No suspect was arrested. |
