Description
Demonic powers are supernatural abilities that manifest in full-blooded demons. Demonic powers tend to be less potent versions of the specialized powers possessed by their forefathers, the fallen. These abilities allow demons to interact and tempt humans with ease. In spite of their demonic powers, a demon can still develop occult and paranormal powers. Below is a full list of demonic powers acquired by succession within Only After Nightfall.

Omnilingualism
|
Gained at Strength: Level Zero
The ability to understand, speak, and read any language without training in it. This power is a consciously activated ability. When presented with a language foreign to them, the user wills a fluent understanding, which causes their eyes to flash with a bright white light as their mind becomes imprinted with the new language.

Shape-shifting

Gained at Strength: Level One
All demons have the ability to disguise themselves as humans, concealing their true form which are considered monstrous visages by human standards with various skin tones ranging from blue, purple, green, and yellow. This ability also camouflages other non-human features such as disfigured forms and unique eye colors. It does not give the user the ability to shift into various forms of creatures and species. |
| Levitation |
Gained at Strength: Level Two
The power to propel oneself into the air without the use of tools or assistance from another person or being. Although it is a weaker form of flight, the user can glide through the air and effectively couple the movement with offensive or defensive actions. The user can activate this power willfully, however it can only be accessed for a brief amount of time (three consecutive in-character posts). After which the power becomes idle (two consecutive in-character posts).

Possession
|
Gained at Strength: Level Four
The power to inhabit the physical form of another creature and attain complete control over their physical actions and speech. While in possession of another's body, the victim's mind is suppressed into their dream orb. The user can activate this power willfully, however, it can only be accessed for a limited amount of time (twenty four hours in-game time). After which the power becomes idle and the possession is ended. Full-blooded demigod races and immortal races are immune to this power.
