Fallen Powers
Fallen powers are supernatural abilities that manifest in fallen angels. Fallen powers tend to be twisted versions of the divinely inherited abilities possessed by the celestial races. These abilities allow the fallen to interact with other races with ease, shield their identities, and battle beings of formidable power. Below is a list of fallen powers acquired by succession within Only After Nightfall.

Omnilingualism

Gained at Strength: Level Zero
The ability to understand, speak, and read any language without training in it. This power is a consciously activated ability. When presented with a language foreign to them, the user wills a fluent understanding, which causes their eyes to flash with a bright white light as their mind becomes imprinted with the new language.

Shape-shifting

Gained at Strength: Level One
All fallen angels have the ability to disguise themselves as humans, concealing their true form which is considered gigantic by human standards with various skin tones ranging from blue, purple, green, and yellow. This ability also camouflages other non-human features such as pointed ears and unique eye colors. It does not give the user the ability to shift into various forms of creatures and species.

Retractable Wings

Gained at Strength: Level One
The ability to sprout expansively large black feathered wings. The wings are expansive enough to span the user's entire body; providing a cocoon of protection. Similar to the celestial angels, these wings are immune to all forms of magic and imprevious to all occult and paranormal powers. It is believed that all fallen powers (separate from fallen traits) are granted from these wings. The user can expand/retract these wings willfully.
Invisibility
Gained at Strength: Level Three
The power to make oneself unable to be seen, or transparent to the natural eye. Because of its twisted nature, this power produces a mystical shroud of black colored smoke around the user during its initial activation. This version of the power is potent enough to block those with psychic powers that see past veils (which are limited to the three powers of perception, mediumship and clairvoyance). The user can activate this power willfully for any length of time. The user does not have access to their other fallen powers when this ability is in use.

Possession

Gained at Strength: Level Four
The power to inhabit the physical form of another creature and attain complete control over their physical actions and speech. While in possession of another's body, the victim's mind is suppressed into their dream orb. The user can activate this power willfully, however, it can only be accessed for a limited amount of time (twenty four hours in-game time). After which the power becomes idle and the possession is ended. Full-blooded demigod races and other immortal races are immune to this power.

Death Touch

Gained at Strength: Level Six
This power enables the user to inflict a posionous infection onto another person resulting in their immediate death (after one in-character post). Upon activation coupled with skin to skin contact, the power causes the skin to welt and burn, incinerating it on contact. Many users of this ability are powerful enough to delay the immediateness of death and only wound the victim. However, the wound left behind will eventually kill the victim over time (twenty four hours in-game time). Divine fire is the only cure for this poison.
