Strength Level Zero / Strength Level One
Also known as astral travel, this is the ability to separate and control one's astral body. The astral body is intangible as well as invisible and inaudible, and is completely unable to interact with the physical plane. The astral body does not have access to any other psychic or occult abilities the user may possess. The user's physical body falls unconscious while the power is in use and is vulnerable to possession. The user can only astral project into places that are within their general location (parent forum).
Duration Period: Three consecutive in-character posts.
Interval Period: Five consecutive in-character posts.
Strength Level Two
The ability progresses to where the projected astral body is intangible, although now visible and audible so that the user can be seen within the physical plane. The astral body does not have access to any other psychic or occult abilities the user may possess. The user's physical body remains unconscious and vulnerable to possession while the power is in use. The user is still limited to only astrally projecting into places that are within their general location (parent forum).
Duration Period: Three consecutive in-character posts.
Interval Period: Five consecutive in-character posts.
Strength Level Three
Astral travel for the user has advanced to where the projected astral body is tangible, as well as visible and audible, and can wholly interact with the physical plane. The astral body still does not have access to any other psychic or occult abilities the user may possess. Their physical body remains unconscious and vulnerable to possession while the power is in use. The user gains the ability to astrally project over vast distances, limited to the mortal plane as well as the astral plane.
Duration Period: Five consecutive in-character posts.
Interval Period: Three consecutive in-character posts.
Strength Level Four
Allows for astral travel of an tangible body that can astrally project over vast distances, including other dimensions - excluding the celestial and hell dimensions. The astral body will also remain without access to any other psychic or occult abilities the user may possess. The user's physical body remains unconscious while the power is in use, however, the physical body now maintains a mental shield that keeps other consciousness from inhabiting it while the user is in astral mode.
Duration Period: Eight consecutive in-character posts.
Interval Period: Two consecutive in-character posts.
Strength Level Five
Continued astral travel of an tangible body that can astrally project over vast distances, including other dimensions - excluding the celestial and hell dimensions. During astral travel the user is now able to access any other psychic or occult powers that they would possess while in their physical body. The user's physical body remains unconscious, and maintains a mental shield that keeps other consciousness from inhabiting it while the user is in astral mode.
Duration Period: Eight consecutive in-character posts.
Interval Period: Two consecutive in-character posts.
Strength Level Six
No significant progression, other than the elimination of the duration and interval period. Thus, allowing the user continuous access to the ability.
Duration Period: Ten consecutive in-character posts.
Interval Period: Two consecutive in-character post.
Strength Unlimited
In addition to all of the base level aspects of this power, the user can astrally project while maintaining consciousness within their physical body; splitting their consciousness within two distinct locations. Can also access any and all psychic or occult powers in their possession with their astral and physical bodies simultaneously.
